Investment credits: Given for 5- to 10-year economic and energy benefits of startup or expansion projects, with awards credited to monthly power bills.

Performance grants: Based on economic impact of a new or expanding business, these grants are awarded directly to businesses, assuring flexibility in how the grants are used.

Loan Funds: For qualified projects, TVA loans can fill financing gaps or lower the overall cost of the startup or expansion.  

Valley Investment Initiative (VII): Qualified projects in targeted sectors may be eligible for VII rewards.

Jobs Tax Credit: As a Tier 2-designated county, Shelbyville-Bedford can offer a credit of $4,500 per job to offset up to 100% of franchise and excise (F&E) taxes for qualified projects.

Industrial machinery credit: A tax credit up to 10% can be awarded for the purchase, third-party installation and repair of qualified industrial machinery.

FastTrack Job Training Assistance: For qualified projects, these state grants can substantially defray the costs of custom training.

Manufacturing sales and use exemptions: For qualified manufacturing projects, sales tax on industrial machinery may be exempted, while sales tax for utilities may be reduced.

Warehouse/Distribution center sales tax exemption: For qualified centers, sales tax may be exempted for material handling and racking systems. 

Cap on franchise/inventory tax: Available for qualified distribution/warehouse facilities.
